About Me

I am an experienced teacher and tutor with qualifications in French, English Language, education and applied linguistics.

My career has included teaching in Britain, Libya and Germany at secondary and university level. I later became Head of Modern Languages and developed systems for continuous assessment and pupil progress.

Since 2003, I have concentrated on private tuition and 11+ preparation in Plymouth.

My approach begins with careful assessment and individual planning. I aim to give clear explanations, regular practice and useful feedback, while helping pupils become more confident and independent in English and mathematics.
